Fuck you, fucking piece of shit.

GWENPOOL 5. BY CAVAN SCOTT AND STEFANO NESI. I couldn't leave the series unfinished, could I? Let's take a look at this shit.  The cover looks like shit. That's it. There was no variant to review. Gwenpool (Stacy) or whatever her stupid name was is telling that one guy with the red X on his face that everyone is dead... I don't recall Kate Bishop dying but I don't like remembering this series. Whatever, Gwen (Stacy) and the red X dude start fighting until... Get this...  CYBORG GWENPOOL SHOWS UP. If this were any other comic, I'd be laughing... No, just kidding, I'd still be pretty fucking confused. And then Spider-Man shows up... Why isn't he a cyborg?  And Kate Bishop also shows up. And Jeff.  And then- and then, the X guy is unmasked to reveal... Cavan Scott. Woooooow. How creative, Cavan, write yourself saying how much you hated writing the series... You didn't have to write it like this. Whatever, Cavan hurts Gwen's feefees and then everyon...

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

PART 4. GWENPOOL. CAVAN SCOTT. STEFANO NESI. I'm aware of the fact that I said I wasn't gonna look at the original cover, but this one's interesting because it shows us something that happens in the book... Gwen Stacy holding a dead Spider-Man. I do not like how Chad Hardin draws eye lenses for Spider-Man OR Gwenpool. My point from the last fucking review still stands, how the fuck am I supposed to be shocked by this if you show me what happens on the fucking cover? At least the JMS Spidey covers kept things from us, sure, they were bland but they didn't tell you what to expect. Let's remember the Amazing Spider-Man 121 cover, it showed us a bunch of faces telling us that someone was gonna die but didn't explicitly tell us who. I'm not saying you can't show important events in your cover but please don't show events that are TOO important, sure, you can tell us what to expect, but maybe not for character deaths. If everyone fucking dies, what's t...

It doesn't get much better.

This is part 3 of Gwenpool. By Cavan Scott and Stefano Nesi. This is the cover by Karen S. Darboe. Look at Gwen Stacy, she looks absolutely majestic, wow, makes me wish women were real. Oh, and there's Gwen (Poole) acting like she got lost or something. I really want this cover as a poster and I would love to have it framed so I can put it up on the wall and falsely claim I painted it, visitors will be so shocked! Last time, A bunch of shit happened, but Gwen killed Gwen, and this is the aftermath. The comic begins with Gwenpool's funeral, but I am noticing a lack of loved ones or even characters that were her FRIENDS? You know, the ones from the other series that were cool and good? Where's Batroc, Mega Tony and the others? Where's Julie Power? WHERE. THE. FUCK. IS. TEDDY? Did none of them get the memo? Why have the funeral happen RIGHT AFTER SHE DIED? Most funerals wait until every friend and relative knows and then they happen 2 days later or something. Peter is mopi...

"I know. It looks bad."

When you hear about the death of your favorite characters, your stomach sinks a little bit, it's like hearing about the loss of a loved one, but much, much worse. This series continues, the first issue was less than stellar, but I did say there was room for improvement... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's all I've got, this is Gwenpool '25 #2 by Cavan Scott and Stefano Nesi. BUT LET'S ESTABLISH A NEW RULE: - I have to be brutally honest, the covers for this series all suck, so we're reviewing variants. This is the infinitely better variant cover . This one was drawn by Lesley Li, and it looks great, actually. It depicts Gwen (Stacy) in a cool pose about to murder you. Main cover shows a spoiler, so... "Rated T+", I don't see anyone over the age of 23 picking this up.  I just felt a sharp pain in my chest from picking this up, looks like this post is about to turn out to become the tragic death of the original Spider-Plush... ...

The News. (ft. Gwenpool #1 ACTUAL Review)

Image
NOTE: This post was written by Eddie, don't know why it says Polly. Here is the real review for this god forsaken comic. Thanks, Cavan Scott and Stefano Nesi. Yadda yadda yadda, I already looked at the cover. It looks like this comic is actually exactly what I was expecting, but it was actually... Good? No, not really, its still crap, but passable crap. Gwen Stacy is back, all thanks to Weapon X, and she now goes by the name of X-31 or Gwenpool or something like that*. MEANWHILE, Kate Bishop, Spider-Man and Gwenpool (the white one) from Marvel Comics are all entering Weapon X until Fig Fang Foom shows up, but luckily, Gwenpool uses her amazing powers of leaving the panels to show up in another page as a giant to kick Fig Fang Foom's green ass... Well, I've never seen his ass, for all I know it could be red, or blue, or purple. All of a sudden, someone starts KILLING the guards, and it is none other than Gwenpool (the purple one, I'm talking about the colors of their cos...

Spider-Man: Clone Wars (Part 1)

TIMELINE OF THIS REVIEW: I was at the supermarket with my mom, and she got me a Spider-Man comic titled "The Real Clone Saga". Years later, I went to Carls Jr. to order the new Thunderbolts Promotional Burger combo. The only thing these things have in common is that I'm reviewing them today. First off, the easiest one to explain. Marvel's Thunderbolts are a bunch of guys that no one knows put together on a superhero team. They got a movie recently that I haven't seen but I probably will soon. In order to promote this movie, Mexican Carls Jr. restaurants are serving "The Team Burger", which is a combo consisting of a Burger with a special sauce, fries, and a cup for your beverage of choice.  There's actually 2 ways to have this burger, one is the small version with small fries, a burger with one patty and a small soda, and the other is well... How do I put this... A burger with 2 patties, large fries and a large soda. I ordered the former because I ha...

Gwenpool (2025) #1 Pre-Review

Image
It won't be out until May, but I already want to tear it apart, so I will do what I did when that Spider-Man cartoon show came out and review it without reading it.  It seems like the guys at Marvel read my recent review of ASM 26 and thought that I needed to suffer just a little bit more.  Gwen Stacy is back from the dead and she's now a crazy psycho that goes by the name of... Gwenpool. I'm gonna be brutally honest when I say that I have a little bit of hope for this series, I mean, it's being written by the same guy that brought us Zombiotes... Here's the thing, Zeb Wells is also a great writer, but he brought us over 50 issues of garbage. I don't think it's the writer's fault; I think it's the editorial team's fault. What is going on at Marvel HQ that only exclusively affects Spider-Office* books? Only the best detectives can figure that out. I woke up one morning to the news of a new Gwenpool title, I was really giddy because I was young and...

Remastered and sorta remade. Originally meant to be published on Wix, though never finished due to prioritizing other work. Remember the 60's? You're reading this shit, of course you don't. The 60's were a great time for comic books. You saw a comic book in the newsstands, you saw only one cover and you just had to deal with it.  Now, this was pretty much the standard from 19-whenever-comics-were-invented, but up until the 1990's, something strange occurred. You see, comics like the first appearances of Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man started to rocket in value because 1, quantities were limited (Less than 100 copies of Action Comics exist nowadays) and because they were ICONIC characters that were now parts of pop culture... People and companies took the wrong idea from this. See, the people of the world thought that if you took any comic book and just kept it for a few years, then it would become valuable. So, companies like Marvel and DC started to introduce new...

Reviewing things I haven't seen!

That new Spider-Man TV show just came out, but I don't have Disney+, everyone's talking about it and I don't want to be an outcast, so I'm gonna do the ballsiest thing ever, I'm gonna lose my credibility as a reviewer! I bet the other review sites are gonna be so proud of me... Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, written by Jeff Trammel and directed by Mel Zwyer, a show inspired by the comic book titled "Spider-Man", and also a little bit inspired by the MCU films featuring "Spider-Man", it was announced somewhere around 2022, and the first 2 episodes were released yesterday. Man, I remember when we thought the show was NEVER coming out.  First of all, the intro features a rap song that samples the 1967 Spider-Man theme song. The track is titled "Neighbor Like Me"by the Match Club (featuring Relaye and Melo Makes Music... Okay, Melo, now I know that you make music and not sandwiches). Let's talk about this theme song. First off, ...
