RULES

Here are the official rules of the website for writers.

- Try to have fun while writing, that's the sole reason why I made this site, an outlet for me to vent my thoughts on my crazy Spider-Man collection.

- We try to avoid real world situations unless we're mentioning historical events or making fun of them for our news posts.

- We try to NOT be insensitive, and we absolutely do NOT make rape jokes, racist jokes, homophobic jokes, mysoginist jokes, ableist jokes or just any kind of hateful jokes whatsoever. We also absolutely do not tolerate jokes at the expense of anyone's death... Unless it's like some really old politician or something. Sex jokes are allowed but be careful how you do them.

- The main topic of conversation on the website is Marvel but we can absolutely talk about other things.

- We don't host advertisements but do feel free to promote your donation sites.

- We do not make Sins Past jokes or One More Day jokes, or even Clone Saga jokes because they're really overdone... Well, unless you can make a really funny and subtle joke that will make me laugh... Maybe I'll allow it.

- You have like 99% creative control, but if I have to change something (I.e. fix your grammar or fix an attachment) or add a note, I will.

- Jokes about Greg Land and Rob Liefeld are also banned unless they're really subtle and really funny. This does not apply to historical references or mentions.

- We don't use Raimi Spider-Man quotes unless they're not "memed" about enough.

- You can turn your OWN posts into YouTube videos or publish them somewhere else... As long as they're your own posts, duh!

If you wish to join the team after reading this, email me or DM me or whatever, I'll probably respond.

Here's a list of Spider-Man things I'll never review.

1. Kraven's Last Hunt.

I know the entire world has been dying to know what I think of the 80's storyline that many consider to be one of the most iconic and the darkest Spider-Man stories... I've never read it. And every time someone tells me to read it, I just won't read it even HARDER. I'll give you a synopsis of the story... Well, what I know about it.

Kraven kills Spidey (not really) and steals his costume and pretends to be him for a week, some kinda demon shows up, Peter crawls out of his grave and beats up Kraven for the last time before he goes to his house and commits suicide...

So, why don't I read it? Well, what would I have to say about it? It has been reviewed many times and every Spidey fan I know loves it. What would MY review say? Nothing new.

2. The Clone Saga.

The Spider-Man Clone Saga was a storyline that dragged on for way too long and a lot of things happened. Long story short: This was supposed to be a storyline that only lasted for a few months, but they couldn't figure out a way to end it, so it really just became a long boring era of lame comic after lame comic. Now, of course, there are exceptions for this:

- The 2010 Clone Saga series that shows what was supposed to happen.

- The Ultimate Clone Saga + the Miles Morales clone saga.

- The original 1970's Clone Saga.*

- Scarlet Spider/Kaine books from the 2000's and 2010's.*

- 101 Ways To End The Clone Saga*

- Clone Conspiracy*

*I don't own these yet.

But any comic released from cover date October 1994 to December 1996 is a no-no from me.

3. Chapter One

Why the fuck would I want to read the same stories from the 1960s with barely any changes? John Byrne is a fairly okay artist but definitely NOT a good writer.

4. The Newspaper Strip.

Frankly, this is because I do not care for it as much as I care about the mainline comic book. For anyone interested, Marvel reprints these strips in a hardcover every once in a while, and they used to reprint them on issues of Marvel Tales back in the 1970's.

5. Anything Spider-Verse related released after 2017.

Remember Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse? Wasn't it so good? Here are 20,000 more Spider-Verse events with characters YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT. I seriously do NOT want to review things like Venomverse, Spider-Geddon, Edge of Spider-Geddon, End Of The Spider-Verse, or other shit like that.

Spider-Verse started off in 2014 when Morlun traveled to different universes in order to eat the Spider-Men, and they all team up and stuff. Then the movie came out, and then No Way Home came out, and now Marvel is churning out many Spider-Verse stories. Oh, but there's no space for Ben Reilly in 616... Oh, and this event is partially responsible for the creation of Gwenpool.

This may be a stupid question, but why is Spider-Punk against corporations if he's in a comic and a movie... That was made and distributed by a fucking corporation? 2 CORPORATIONS? And this movie is being advertised with toys and other products that are distributed by MORE corporations? I get what he's trying to say, but I'm just confused about the people that display the message (Marvel and Sony)

I suppose that's it. If you want to see any of these issues reviewed on the site, either ask our guest writers or apply to become a guest writer yourself.

I also don't review DC.
