THE LATEST NEWS.

Welp, I'm pissed at the world because the news suck, they're not what I want to hear, they're so inconsiderate... so, I'm gonna make MY OWN news. Plus, I'm gonna have you guys play a little guessing game and whoever guesses correctly is gonna win... A NO-PRIZE! WORLD NEWZZZ: That's right, everyone, WORLD WAR III is about to happen, and there's nothing you can do about it. You're fucked. Get ready to see violence for the next 6 or so years. The US government has finally decided to open Area 51 to the public, everyone can just go there and take a good look at whatever the hell was going on in there... looks like that Area 51 raid was pointless. You can now just  NASA just announced that it looks like Earth is getting another moon (again) soon, and it is... Venus? Wow, that is just insane. I just wonder what's gonna happen to the werewolves now. Many trusted sources are saying that North America might connect to Europe due to continental drift soon, so...

The Strangest Comic Of All Time. (Reviews)

Image
You guys remember the good ol' days of 2010? I don't, i was 3 at the time.  Well, Marvel was pretty big in 2010, everyone liked them. Do you care? No.  Galactus had a daughter. yes, it's true, i'm not making this up. You may have heard of her because she was in that new game called Marvel Rivals. Well, i saw that she had 4 entire comics so i decided to check them out. This is Galacta: Daughter of Galactus (2010), written by Adam Warren and drawn by Hector Sevilla Lujan.  Issue 0 was released exclusively on Marvel's Digital Comics Unlimited service, known nowadays as Marvel Unlimited. This is probably the only comic on the service that has a low resolution. First panel is a tweet. Here is the link, cause it was a real tweet on a real account. Marvel made a real twitter to promote this... This reminds me of Chicago Party Aunt or whatever it was. The kinda shit that Galacta tweets is the kinda shit that i would've tweeted 2 or so years ago. Hopefully she will follo...

Hooolaaaa

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. It's been the funniest fucking week here in the mind of Spider-Plush, just let me tell you about the latest and greatest news of the week. This is WEEK 2 OF SPIDER-PLUSH.... And hopefully my last. WORLD NEWS:  - I GOT A FUCKING POKEMON CARD, that's right, i got a Pokémon card when i went to my local yard sale last Saturday. It's a Piplup. It was in every newspaper, it was on CNN, Associated Press, the ABC, the 123, everywhere. - I'm still pissed about the bet I lost last Tuesday. MEDIA NEWS: - MTV EMAs happened November 10th in Manchester. Sabrina Carpenter won Best Song.  - JeepersMedia is back to review more Fail Toys, but he supports AI... Damn. - Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters February 14th, 2025, and Marvel just released another trailer to promote it on D23 Brazil. It looks like shit. Waited like a million years to see the Red Hulk on a movie screen and he looks like fucking dogshit, HIS EYES ...

The news posts are back... For a limited time only.

WORLD NEWS: I made a very foolish bet on Tuesday for Daily Spider-Plush. I said that if Donald Duck wins the 2024 Presidential Election, I would post WEEKLY instead of Daily for the rest of the month... I didn't think there were that many FUCKING IDIOTS in the US of A. It really doesn't affect me, though. I don't live in the US, so I don't care. Wait a minute, Trumpet won! It does affect me at least a little bit, because I have to post WEEKLY now. Oh well. Well, other than that, nothing else has happened. Everyone's feeling bitter... C'mon guys, cheer up. Be optimistic.  Media News:  New York Comic-Con happened recently, and I didn't report on it because I was too busy celebrating my shitty anniversary. Not a lot was announced either. Twitter... Oh sorry, i mean X has changed their block function, you can now see everything, but you cannot interact with the person that blocked you. Evan Filarca, I'm coming for your shit... Hahahah, I'm just kidding,...

This is bull... Or is it? (Review)

I have to review another issue of the mini-series that killed me... Or... Did it? Of course it didn't, that would just be silly, you can't be killed by a comic... Unless you die from papercuts. Though i can't do that cause I'm reading from a digital comic. Let me give you a recap. Gwenpool Strikes Back begins its first issue with dabbing, staring at pregnant ladies, robbing a bank and unmasking Spider-Man all for the SALES. This was probably the first ever comic that blatantly admits it was made just for the sales. It was psychologically painful. Issue 2 has sex jokes, the Fantastic Four, VORE, more sex jokes, unfunny 4th wall breaks and worst of all, DEADPOOL. This issue was physically painful. Issue 2 ended like shit, which means that issue 3 started like shit. But then the story took a 180° degree turn and actually became kind of readable. This issue was only slightly painful. Also, Deadpool just leaves the story midway through the issue. Thank fucking god. And now,...

From The Archives: The Spider-Man Toilet Paper Comic

Image
Originally posted on November 3rd, 2024. A few days ago, actually. Dear reader, this is not a joke. Someone got paid to make this, someone got paid to write this comic, someone got paid to draw it, someone got paid to manufacture it, and people paid so they could have this in their homes to wipe their butts. In the 1970's, Marvel Comics was HUGE, i could've asked someone on the street if they read Marvel Comics and they would say YES, in all caps and with a comma at the end. Marvel had a lot of merchandise back then, you got your MEGOs, your Underoos, your 7-Eleven cups, all that stuff, and they all had Spider-Man & The Hulk in them because they were Marvel's TV Sensations, everyone knew about them back in the 70's thanks to the live-action TV shows and TV movies. Spider-Man could be in every room of your house, including THE BATHROOM. You ever see people talking about how the new Amazing Spider-Man comics could be used as toilet paper? Well, back in the 1970's ...

From The Archives: A Retrospective for a 10 Issue Comic Series.

Image
I recently had a 7-day trial for Marvel Unlimited, i used it to read suggestions from people on Discord and so i could read comics that i will never get to own. Also, so i could finish that one post that is coming out on June 2025 (Still not telling you what comic it's about) I'm gonna write a retrospective for The Unstoppable Wasp. A series from 2018 which got not 9, not 11, not 12, but 10 whole issues. Wow. It was written by Jeremy Whitley and drawn by Gurihiru, who also drew that one comic everyone likes. Before i get into the series itself, i have to give some backstory.  I don't like the Avengers. I know, what a shocking revelation, the guy that only reads Marvel Comics isn't a huge fan of The Avengers. I saw the movies in theaters and thought they were alright, but I've never read a single issue of any Avengers comic... Or at least once that stars the most popular members. The original Avengers team had Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Ant-Man, and The Wasp. I wasn...

Spider-Plush Random Hour 4 (FTA)

Image
The 4 Year Anniversary Celebration ends here. and i'm gonna bring you Random Hour 4, it's fitting, 4 Years, Random Hour 4, it makes sense. (Art by @wet_dream04 on twitter.) What can i talk about that i haven't spoken about in the other 3 random hours? Well, i have the rest of August and all of September to figure that out.  If you're one of the 2 people that are reading this, you probably think "What a disappointing anniversary" and i would agree. Actually, self-deprecation is not funny anymore, WE HAVE THE BEST POSTS EVER, AND EVERYONE SHOULD READ THEM. Let's just talk about what i have to say. THING #1: THE MULTIVERSE PROBLEM. For those that don't keep up with the latest MCU news, we're in the Multiverse Saga. This is good news for some, but bad for me.  But first off, what is the multiverse? It's actually pretty easy to explain, we're in THE UNIVERSE, and outside of the Universe, there are a bunch of alternate universes, sounds like a si...

4 Years Of Spider-Plush: 4th Year Recap (FTA)

Image
Originally posted on October 25th, 2024.  The 4-Year Celebration continues here, I'm here to give you a recap of the 4th year, for a recap of the other 3 years, click here . This 4th Year, it's been crazier than the others. Or at least my brain thinks so. November 2023:  I was tasked with making a list of things that i actually give a shit about and it was fun. that's all... December 2023: The biggest things that happened were probably the Evil Spider-Man Christmas Special.  Also, the first official Spider-Plush Awards, the winner was the 2099 Spider-Man plush. SONIC WINTER JAM HAPPENED; HOW COULD I FORGET. January:  I had to take a break to focus on some personal stuff, i can't go too much into it but i will say that i was a secret agent for a bit, i had cool gear and stuff. I also got called a "fuzzy lumpkins built ass bitch" which is ridiculous. I was also a cool radical kid for a bit, but then the joke got old incredibly fast and i just stopped doing it. J...

4 Years of Spider-Plush: A Remake Of An Old Post (FTA)

Image
Originally posted on October 20th, 2024.  You may remember that in the early days of this website i made a post listing my favorite characters, you may also remember that i was also a goddamn idiot. Not only is this a part of the 4 Year Anniversary, but it also involves me revamping my previous work. Stay tuned for remakes of my LPs on YouTube within the next 20 years. Unlike last time, i'm not gonna put 10 characters, who do you think i am? WatchMojo? No! I'm better than that. I'm going for TOP 5! The top 5 is more important. I am also making this because my opinion has changed since that post came out. These are characters that i love and understand more than anyone in the fucking world, anyone who claims that they're the #1 fan of these characters is a fucking liar, i am FAN #1, NUMERO UNO, nobody else. 5: SpongeBob SquarePants The last time i went to the store (which was like a half hour ago) i noticed that the TV was playing SpongeBob, and i just stood there ...

4 Years Of Spider-Plush: More Plushies (FTA)

Image
Originally posted on October 12, 2024. Hello, it's me Edward. And later this month, it'll be the 4-Year Anniversary of Daily Spider-Plush. I know it's silly to celebrate 4 years of a twitter page, but i don't think of it as just celebrating a twitter page, i think of it as celebrating 4 years of me using this username to be an idiot, sometimes you can celebrate the small things. Besides, if it hadn't been for this twitter page, this site wouldn't have existed, and you wouldn't have been here to read this. What am I even saying? It has been 4 years, and nobody is interested in what I have to say. Art by @wet_dream04 on twitter Unlike last year, i'm not gonna release everything in the same day, i'm gonna release like 4 things over the course of a couple weeks.  More Plushies in My Collection (October 12) A remake of an old post.  (October 20) The 4th Year Recap (October 25) Rabdom Hour 4 (October 27) Whether or not i stick to these deadlines is up to ...

No (Reseña En Español) (FTA)

Nunca he visto My Hero Academia.

From The Archives: A Normal Game Review.

Image
Originally posted on October 4th, 2024. This is gonna be a normal review for a normal game, none of that weird stuff. The game i'm gonna be reviewing is Spider-Man for the Atari 2600. This is a fairly normal box art that depicts what we can expect from the game in question, Spider-man plummeting towards his doom after getting his web cut off by the Green Goblin. This game was developed by Parker Brothers in 1982, one year before the Great Video Game Crash. This was the first ever Spider-Man video game and the first ever video game to be inspired by a Marvel Comics character.  Believe it or not, the main character of this game is none other than Spider-Man himself, what a shock. The player controls ol' Spidey, who is trying to defuse a bomb that has been put up by the Green Goblin, you get to the top of a building by shooting your webs, because you can't just crawl on the walls, where's the fun in that?  There needs to be more challenge in this game, and that is exactly ...

From The Archives: The Amazing Spider-Man Vs. Some Girl Named Vanna.

Image
Originally posted on September 29th, 2024. I'm gonna review a Spider-Man comic, because it's been a long time since I've posted anything. Very recently (last year) I went to a yard sale and found a guy that was selling a lot of comic books, and I purchased 2 of them, one was a copy of Action Comics #1 Facsimile Edition, and the other was the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Derailed TPB, can you guess which one I'm gonna be reviewing today? Action Comics is gonna have to wait because I have a Spider-Man comic to review. I'm gonna be checking out Issue number 5, because I actually really ____ it. Read the rest of the review and then fill the blank.  Written by Peter David, drawn by Mike Wieringo & Roger Cruz. Review written by me. The cover depicts some girl on her computer, just typing away, while Spider-Man is crawling on the wall. Cover's good, I have no jokes to make here, let's move on. The comic begins with someone writing stupid shit on a blog and...
