FTA: Spider-Plush Storytime 3

Originally published on February 24th, 2023 Hey guys, welcome to another episode of spider-plush storytime, today im gonna say a bunch of bad Spider-Man takes from when i was younger and stupid. This isn't really a storytime, this is more of a top 4 random thoughts i used to have Bad Take 1: MCU SPIDER-MAN Back in the years of 2019, i was a really stupid idiot, (i was 12) and i had this old cringy account where i pretended to be Spider-Man. I used that account to comment on youtube videos about Spider-Man and i shared my stupid opinions.  Now, im gonna tell you this funny little fun fact about me. I didn't watch Spider-Man Homecoming when it first came out, it was the only Spider-Man movie that i hadn't watched. But i thought that the movie was all about the stupid fucking Iron Boy Jr argument and i then argued with youtube commenters about it once. It wasn't until i finally watched every spider-man movie to form my own opinions that i thought that the movies were goo...

NFTA: The Amazing Spider-Man #14

Image
I have no jokes for this one. It's the first appearance of what many consider to be Spider-Man's most iconic villain, and the one that has caused the webslinger to suffer the most... Other than the time Doc Ock killed Spidey, but that's besides the point, this is the first appearance of Green Goblin, in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #14. by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Originally, the Green Goblin was supposed to be a weird sorta ancient creature that escaped and started attacking Spider-Man, but then it was changed to just a crazy guy in a costume. There is so much shit going on in this cover, Spidey is clinging to the top of a cave, while Green Goblin is about to touch Spidey's balls with his amazing flaming hand, and the Enforcers are cheering him on. You see that blue box with red borders? You see what it says? THE HULK is guest-starring in this issue, OH BOY! My 2nd favorite Marvel character! Watch out! He's about to punch the reader! Funny little tidbit of info...

From The Archives: Ultimate Spider-Man #46 Review

Originally posted on January 18th, 2023 on a site that no one cared about. Hey there, today I'm going to review a spider-man comic (no one's done that before)  Now you might be thinking "how did i get here?" and the answer is "i don't know" but thank you for reading.  So, here is the cover for the issue I'm gonna review today. So, I have this Omnibus thingy that collects Ultimate Six (2004), Ultimate Spider-Man 54-59 and issue 46 for some reason. Which is really nice of Brian Michael Bendis to put this comic in this omnibus (yes i know marvel makes these decisions and not Bendis) This story features the sandman, who doesn't wear his iconic clothes, he's not wearing anything, and he doesn't look like a regular person who can turn into sand, he just looks like a human made of sand... Whatever. This story features Sharon Carter from S.H.I.E.L.D. and this new character called "Spider-Man", now i think this character will be forgott...

From The Archives: Spider-Plush Storytime #2

The following post was originally released on a Wix blog on January 9th, 2023. It is presented completely unaltered from its original form. Spelling mistakes and all. Hey guys, it's Spider-Plush here with another one of my stupid texts that no one reads, this isn't my full story, also it may show that i use the internet a lot. INTRODUCTION Some People (no one) are wondering "Where did you come from, Mr. Spider-Plush" and i tell them nothing, because nobody has said that ever. This is something that haunts me almost every day, i can't sleep because i just keep thinking about all of these memories... But then i remember that there is nothing to be sad about because it's not really that bad. CHAPTER 1: The Google Plus Days Back in 2015, i made a google account, i used it for regular ass things like youtube, gmail, and other google services, i was a really big fan of gmail (brand new sentence) and i checked it every day because i didn't have facebook or twitt...

From The Archives: Talking about Spider-Man

Originally posted on Wix December 30th, 2022. As some of you may remember, back in June, i posted a document with information about La Prensa's Original Spider-Man comics, and if you actually read the document, you may remember that i said "The End, i think." Because i might find some information.  Well guess what, i couldn't find shit, but here is some stuff i think is interesting For Example: FACT 1: The Mexican copy of "El Sorprendente Hombre Araña" #1 might be more rare than the original american regular-ass copy of Amazing Spider-Man #1, due to the fact that people used them like newspapers, (get it? swatting flies with Spider-Man) because these were cheap, if they want to read it again after using it to dry their shoes on a rainy day, they could just buy another one for 1 peso, which is like 0.052 dollars. Only a fucking loser would preserve a comic book, also the price was raised to 1 peso and 50 cents because the economy sucks. FACT (thought) 2: I a...

From The Archives: Spider-Plush Storytime #1 (Evil Spider-Man)

Originally posted on Wix.  OG POST DATE: November 30th, 2022 This is how my story begins. When i was 12 years old, i was really bored, i was also really stupid (i still am), and the best way to have fun is by creating something, so i stapled together a few pieces of paper and i drew a comic book about an evil Spider-Man, it was called… the evil spider-man (creativity wasn't invented yet 3 years ago.) The first issue features his story, Spider-Man is the killer of uncle ben, he drops Gwen Stacy off the Brooklyn bridge on purpose and robs a few banks. It was really bad. The second issue features Spider-Man in his base, uncle Ben's ghost tells him that he should make a new costume, it kinda looks like the iron spider suit, it even has the robot spider legs, Spider-Man finds the hulk, in this universe, the hulk is happy, is actually intelligent and less destructive. Spider-Man, being an evil son of a bitch, shoots the hulk and kills him. The End. I never made issue 3, but it was go...

I reviewed the other issues on twitter but it's probably going to shut down, so here are some of my last spider-man reviews COMIC REVIEW: The Amazing Spider-Man #2: classic comic book, 9/10 funny bird guy COMIC REVIEW: The Amazing Spider-Man #1: This comic is a classic, it's great, 10/10 COMIC REVIEW: Amazing Fantasy #15: this spider-man story was good; 10/10 they should make more spider-man comics. And now.... The Amazing Spider-Man #3 This issue features the first appearance of Dr. Octopus, a crazy mad scientist that has 4 robotic arms, and Spider-Man has to stop him! the story by Stan Lee is an exciting story with lots of action and drama, it also features a cameo by Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) who gives an inspiring talk about never giving up. The art by Steve Ditko is fantastic, he is one of the best Spider-Man artists, he draws spider-man in such a cool, superhero kind of way. This comic is great, 9/10 Spide...

Originally posted on Wix.  OG POST DATE: November 16th, 2022. In 1963 Marvel Comics gave the rights to publish stories of their characters to a publisher in Mexico called La Prensa, they were able to print the stories of Hulk, Captain America, The Avengers, the Ant-Man and the Wasp, The X-Men, Iron Man, Daredevil, The Fantastic Four and of course, The Amazing Spider-Man, these comics were sold in many places, like Mexico, Peru, and other countries (I could only find those two) and they had translations of the original stories, however, Marvel allowed them to create original stories with original artwork, the art for the original comics was made by José Luis Gonzalez Duran, who also drew the art for the daily newspaper comic strip. Today i am gonna review one of these stories This is the cover for El Sorprendente Hombre Araña #153, which used to be $1.50 Mexican pesos back in 1973. The Story is actually really good, it features Spider-Man going to Europe to stop a tyrant, a bu...
