SPIDER-PLUSH HYPE 3. (Day 8 of the 12 Days of Eddiemas)

Well, it's 2025. I'm turning 18 this year, I plan on getting a job, going to college, so that might mean I won't have time to be a blog writer anymore. Aw, who am I kidding, I'm probably gonna monetize this blog. Well, y'know, instead of thinking about the future of ME, let's think about the future of the blog. Happy New Year, by the way.


JANUARY'S BIG POSTS: The Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 2) Issues 30-31.

This is 2025's big review series, issues 31 to 35 of The Amazing Spider-Man after the 1999 Relaunch, this is also the first arc written by writer J. Michael Straczynski, a very critically acclaimed writer.

Also, if I have time, I might make a new Evil Spider-Man issue.

FEBRUARY:

Well, this will be the start of the slightly less big review series, where I look at the first 11 appearances of Spider-Man. 

MARCH: 

I don't have any plans other than reviewing issues 32 and 33 of ASM vol. 2. 

APRIL: 

The big finale of that ASM review series. AND A BIRTHDAY SPECIAL, but I don't know what I'm gonna do for that... Maybe I should make the ASM finale a birthday special. 

MAY: 

A review of the Spider-Man movie! Wow. And also, early ASM continues.

JUNE:

Well, I still don't understand why no one has guessed which is the greatest comic of all time. I've left hints everywhere! Only two people have guessed, first it was WaterIsNotWetL on Twitter, then SpiderKabir on Twitter, and our guest writer Camden.

 Oh, and I guess I'm planning on making a Sonic special on June 23rd.

Okay, I don't have plans for the rest of the year, but I guess I have a little bit of an idea for what I want to do with the 5-year anniversary special. 

Oh, and I've also made the decision to make an honest review of the worst Spider-Man stories.

Reviewing things I haven't seen!

That new Spider-Man TV show just came out, but I don't have Disney+, everyone's talking about it and I don't want to be an outcast, so I'm gonna do the ballsiest thing ever, I'm gonna lose my credibility as a reviewer! I bet the other review sites are gonna be so proud of me... Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, written by Jeff Trammel and directed by Mel Zwyer, a show inspired by the comic book titled "Spider-Man", and also a little bit inspired by the MCU films featuring "Spider-Man", it was announced somewhere around 2022, and the first 2 episodes were released yesterday. Man, I remember when we thought the show was NEVER coming out.  First of all, the intro features a rap song that samples the 1967 Spider-Man theme song. The End of Gwenpool Strikes Back. (Review)

It's finally time to finish this comic. Believe it or not, i didn't know this comic only had 5 issues until i bought them all on the Marvel Comics App before it died (I still won't forgive them), all this time I thought the other issues were just not on the app, then I looked at the website and nope, 5 issues, this really was the end for Gwenpool, sure, she had guest appearances every now and then, but this was her last comic that was actually about her... Or at least until Love Unlimited issues #43-48 (2023) dropped. Since this is the end of an era, i shall now point out many things i missed and things that i should've brought up in the past reviews. ISSUE 1. On page 26, Gwen kindly asks the readers to go back to page 19, which could mean that either the comic thinks that the readers have some sort of short-term memory loss, or it could mean that the comic wants us to read in an endless loop until we either go insane or die.
