The Spider-Plush Awards 2024. (DAY 7 of the 12 Days of Spider-Plush.)

Another year has gone by, and a lot of things happened. It was a big year for Spider-Plush and the site and just a big year for everything. I'd do a recap but I don't want to. I'm gonna make an awards show for all the best things from this year. 

BEST COMIC REVIEWED THIS YEAR: 

So, the comics reviewed this year were:

- Marvel Team-Up #14
- Marvel Holiday Whatever 2016.
- The Ren & Stimpy Show #6

Wow, those are more than I remembered reviewing. That's kinda awesome if you ask me. Now, I'm gonna make 2 categories, best storyline and best single issue. The award for Best Storyline goes to... The Unstoppable Wasp #1-10! This comic is so fucking good. GO READ IT! It's fun, emotional, and actually enjoyable. And read my review too.

As for the best single-issue comic that I reviewed this year... It would go to Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #5. It's an interesting premise and an interesting execution, it's pretty fucking awesome and you should definitely give it a shot. Read my review as well.

As for the WORST COMICS REVIEWED THIS YEAR...

Well, the title of worst storyline has to go to Gwenpool Strikes Back, it is not fun, and it is not a good entertaining story. It's total fucking garbage and it is offensive towards me, if a comic was 100% evil, it's definitely this one. But it did have some good parts but that was not enough.

Worst single-issue definitely goes to Marvel Team-Up #14, it's just so uneventful and so boring. I was thinking of putting that Marvel Holiday Special as the worst single issue but that one was actually fun to read. 

BEST MOVIE REVIEWED THIS YEAR.

I know what the best movie of the year was, it's SONIC 3! It's just so good, it's the best, 10/10.

But I couldn't decide which was the worst movie that I watched this year... Was it Cool World? Or was it the My Hero Academia movie? Well, I let my friends make the choice and they chose cool world, which would also be my choice, I gave the My Hero Academia movie a 60/100 but I gave Cool World a 50/100, and if my math is correct, 50 is less than 60, which makes Cool World somehow worse than the My Hero Academia movie.

BEST GAME REVIEWED THIS YEAR.

The best game that I reviewed this year was definitely Doki Doki Literature Club, it was a very interesting game, it looks innocent and girly at first, but then you find out it is absolutely twisted, and it's fucking crazy!

Worst game, though... I unfortunately have to give it to Spider-Man on the Atari, it's not a bad game, in fact it's actually pretty damn good, but not as good as some of the other games I reviewed this year. 

BEST PLUSHIES REVIEWED THIS YEAR

Best plushie reviewed HAS to go to Kirby by Sanei, it's fucking perfect. That's just how he is. Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, that's the name you should know, Kirby, Kirby, Kirby, he's the star of the show.

Worst plushie was sadly the Splatoon plushie, it's cute and funny looking, but it's not as cool as the other ones. It was pretty squishy, though.

I'm not one to toot my own horn but it's time to look at the best joke post of 2024, and that has to go to that joke news post where all the news were made up by me and my friend Water. WHO MANAGED TO GUESS CORRECTLY WHEN ASKED WHICH WAS THE GREATEST COMIC OF ALL TIME. 

Well, I have nothing else to talk about here, that means the post is done, but tomorrow, aka next year, though... Spider-Plush Hype 3 is coming.  And it's big, real big. MASSIVE, even, but you know what else is massive?

Reviewing things I haven't seen!

That new Spider-Man TV show just came out, but I don't have Disney+, everyone's talking about it and I don't want to be an outcast, so I'm gonna do the ballsiest thing ever, I'm gonna lose my credibility as a reviewer! I bet the other review sites are gonna be so proud of me... Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, written by Jeff Trammel and directed by Mel Zwyer, a show inspired by the comic book titled "Spider-Man", and also a little bit inspired by the MCU films featuring "Spider-Man", it was announced somewhere around 2022, and the first 2 episodes were released yesterday. Man, I remember when we thought the show was NEVER coming out.  First of all, the intro features a rap song that samples the 1967 Spider-Man theme song. The End of Gwenpool Strikes Back. (Review)

It's finally time to finish this comic. Believe it or not, i didn't know this comic only had 5 issues until i bought them all on the Marvel Comics App before it died (I still won't forgive them), all this time I thought the other issues were just not on the app, then I looked at the website and nope, 5 issues, this really was the end for Gwenpool, sure, she had guest appearances every now and then, but this was her last comic that was actually about her... Or at least until Love Unlimited issues #43-48 (2023) dropped. Since this is the end of an era, i shall now point out many things i missed and things that i should've brought up in the past reviews. ISSUE 1. On page 26, Gwen kindly asks the readers to go back to page 19, which could mean that either the comic thinks that the readers have some sort of short-term memory loss, or it could mean that the comic wants us to read in an endless loop until we either go insane or die.
