Random Hour: After-Post Edition (Spidey/Ren & Stimpy Crossover)

 Ok, I wanna talk about Spider-Man for a bit. Because I do not do that enough.

First off, the new Spider-Man cartoon just got a new teaser thing, and it sucks, Spidey is a Kick streamer. Now, I fucking hate this change, this isn't how you modernize Spider-Man. Ol' Petey Boy would never do that... NEXT YOU'RE GONNA TELL ME HE WEARS NINTENDO SHIRTS AND PLAYS SMASH ULTIMATE DURING LUNCH BREAK*. Next you're gonna tell me he makes reviews and sprite skits on YouTube. And after that you're gonna tell me he makes stupid little posts on a blog that no one reads.

Note: Nothing against the artist behind that piece (muoi.bsky.social) where they try to modernize Spidey. My main problem with the piece was just that they said young Spidey "sucked at being a superhero", that being said, I do not think they deserved all the shit they got from drawing that. They make some sick work btw.

Second. I wanna talk about something that happened a few months ago. Eminem released a song called "Tobey", and everyone was going nuts for like 5 seconds before everyone forgot about it and shut up. But all Spider-Man news accounts were posting about it simply because the first verse was "Tobey Maguire was bit by a spider, but me? It was a goat"... How is this Spider-Man news? Not hating on Eminem or anything but I do not understand how that was worthy enough of appearing in a Spider-Man news site. Stupid-ass verse, by the way. See? Now I am hating.

The My Hero Academia movie would've been a lot better if Spider-Man was in it. 

Cool World would've also been better if Spider-Man was there. Actually, that wouldn't have fixed the movie, Cool World just sucks.

Something i had never seen in my life is people complaining about One More Day. Even people that haven't picked up a Spider-Man comic in 17 years are still complaining about it. People saying that they won't pick up a Spider-Man comic after 2007 have the same energy as people that say "I'm mad at you so I'm gonna ignore you now!"

I'm not saying you HAVE to buy Spidey comics, but I'm saying that you can't just pretend that everything after OMD is horrible.

You guys remember that news post? Well, it is time for me to reveal which news were written by Water. 

- The one about a second moon.

- The one about continential drift..

- The one about Spider-Verse getting delayed.

- The one about Spider-Man 4 taking place in California.

- The one about remaking all posts from the old site before Christmas. 

Who guessed correctly? None of you. WAIT! My agent just notified me that someone DID guess correctly, It was Billy the Space Alien. CONGRATS BILLY, You'll get your No-Prize in the mail as soon as I get NASA to let me borrow a spaceship. He was also nice enough to provide a picture of him.

Look at how happy he is, bet he's gonna be even happier when he finds out that he is now the proud owner of a Spider-Plush No-Prize.

Well, I could go on with the post, but I have to write the other "After-Post Edition" coming for that Gwenpool Strikes Back review.

Reviewing things I haven't seen!

That new Spider-Man TV show just came out, but I don't have Disney+, everyone's talking about it and I don't want to be an outcast, so I'm gonna do the ballsiest thing ever, I'm gonna lose my credibility as a reviewer! I bet the other review sites are gonna be so proud of me... Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, written by Jeff Trammel and directed by Mel Zwyer, a show inspired by the comic book titled "Spider-Man", and also a little bit inspired by the MCU films featuring "Spider-Man", it was announced somewhere around 2022, and the first 2 episodes were released yesterday. Man, I remember when we thought the show was NEVER coming out.  First of all, the intro features a rap song that samples the 1967 Spider-Man theme song. The End of Gwenpool Strikes Back. (Review)

It's finally time to finish this comic. Believe it or not, i didn't know this comic only had 5 issues until i bought them all on the Marvel Comics App before it died (I still won't forgive them), all this time I thought the other issues were just not on the app, then I looked at the website and nope, 5 issues, this really was the end for Gwenpool, sure, she had guest appearances every now and then, but this was her last comic that was actually about her... Or at least until Love Unlimited issues #43-48 (2023) dropped. Since this is the end of an era, i shall now point out many things i missed and things that i should've brought up in the past reviews. ISSUE 1. On page 26, Gwen kindly asks the readers to go back to page 19, which could mean that either the comic thinks that the readers have some sort of short-term memory loss, or it could mean that the comic wants us to read in an endless loop until we either go insane or die.
